The inate powers of a human child, Must be nurtured immediately or lost. With help, the powers may flourish, Allowing the child to become one, With that which is his for mastery. As the child grows, he must practice, For, with practice, he will learn control, And he will refine and strengthen, That whcih is a part of him, So that it will not grow week and die. Finally, as the control becomes rote, And he perfects his style, What was once a child with potential, Is now a powerful man, That can shape the power to his will. |
